A Pliable Heart
Updated: Sep 3, 2019
There are areas of your heart that are hard as stone. My child, stones may build a fortress that prevents hurt from entering, but it also thwarts what is good. Let Me take your hard heart and make it pliable once again. Yes, there is risk involved. A soft heart is fragile, exposed to that which would harm. However, if you will trust Me with it, I will open you up to a world of possibilities in your relationship with others and with Me. In this place, what was once intimidating to you will become full of opportunities, and what was once fearful will be filled with faith. A malleable heart in My hands is always preferable to a stony heart that refuses the touch of its Creator. Let Me be your heart’s mender, protector, and transformer. Let Me give you a heart like Mine.
Ez. 36:26-28, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a new heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I shall be your God.” NKJV
Ps. 73:26-28, “My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry. But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the LORD GOD, that I may declare all Your works.” NKJV
