Exposing the Darkness

The enemy acts in the dark and lobs his darts from the place of his abode. You must allow Me to expose him, illuminating those areas of your life where the attacks affect you so that he is no longer in the dark but in the light. In so doing, I blind him, and you, as a child of the light, are able to see and effectively wield the shield of faith against him. Do not fear exposure, but pray for it, that you may succeed in your warfare against him - it is for your benefit. There is nothing to fear in exposure unless you have accustomed yourself to walking in darkness – a danger of compromising sin. In that case, you are not walking as a child of light, and I would expose you to light anyway that you may be redeemed. That is why I say, understand My will and walk in it.

Eph. 5:8-17, “For you used to be darkness; but now, united with the Lord, you are light. Live like children of light, for the fruit of the light is in every kind of goodness, rightness, and truth – try to determine what will please the Lord. Have nothing to do with the deeds produced by darkness, but instead expose them, for it is shameful even to speak of the things these people do in secret. But everything exposed to the light is revealed clearly for what it is, since anything revealed is a light. This is why it says, ‘Get up, sleeper! Arise from the dead, and the Messiah will shine on you!’ Therefore, pay careful attention to how you conduct your life – live wisely, not unwisely. Use your time well, for these are evil days. So don’t be foolish, but try to understand what the will of the Lord is.” CJB
