My Cross Remains
When everything that seems to have been supporting you falls away, crumbling under the weight of this life, you will see the cross, standing firm and unshakeable before you. The cross – the one beam upon which the entirety of life can be centered. Still rough to the touch, ugly, offensive, and soaked with My blood, it stands as the point of decision. It is the place where life and death hang in the balance. Those who turn their backs to death, and those who embrace it to resurrected life. As the smoke from this crash clears, the cross remains, and you are faced once more with a choice. My child, choose life. Choose Me and allow your life to be rebuilt by Me as a testimony to the covenant relationship we have one with another. Having shared in the fellowship of My suffering, enter now into the power of My resurrection.
I Cor. 1:18, “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” NKJV
