My Holiness - Your Standard

My holiness is the standard for your life. You are to be holy, as I am holy. Holiness is the outward manifestation of what has been completed in your inner man and proof of your submission to the work of the Holy Spirit within you. Holiness is not something you do, but who you are. It is not characterized by pride and judgment, but by humility, love, and a choice to allow others to see you as set apart for My glory, allowing every choice to become an act of worship to Me. It is evidenced by a heart quick to repent of anything that offends Me. The test of true holiness for My church is that they can walk in the world, but not be of it. Again I say, be holy, for I am holy.

I Peter 1:15-16, “But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, ‘Be holy, for I am holy.’” NKJV Ps. 30:4, “Sing praises to ADONAI, you faithful of His; and give thanks on recalling His holiness.” CJB
