Offer Your Best
I desire that what you offer Me be pure and holy. Do not say, “It doesn’t matter,”- it does. For I observe some of My people give more to their own pursuits than to Me. Have I not loved you with an everlasting love, and given My very best to you? Oh, that My Church would desire the same! They offer Me leftovers, when I have prepared a banquet, and give Me what is left of their time and energy. Remember the woman who poured expensive ointment on My feet? To those who will give Me their best, I will see to it that their sacrifices are remembered. What you present to Me, I will multiply back to you. Make Me your priority. Let what you offer to Me be unblemished with attitudes of obligation, rather give Me your best with delight, just as I have granted you all of Me with joy. Mal. 1:6-8a, “A son honors his father and a servant his master. But if I’m a father where is the honor due Me? And if I’m a master, where is the respect due Me? – says ADONAI to you priests which despise My Name. You ask, ‘How are we despising Your Name?’ By offering polluted food on My altar! Now you ask, ‘How are we polluting You?’ By saying that the table of ADONAI doesn’t deserve respect; so that there’s nothing wrong with offering a blind animal as a sacrifice…”
