Protect Your Mind

I gave you the helmet of salvation to protect your mind from the onslaught of the enemy. Head wounds are among the deadliest. Remember that you do not war according to the flesh. Bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. As you do, you will see tactics for what they are – skillful manipulations of a crafty enemy seeking to bring death to My life at work in you. Do not fear; I have already overcome and translated you from the Kingdom of Darkness to Light. Therefore, walk according to the freedom I have given you, not becoming entangled in the plots of an already defeated foe. Allow My Word to renew your mind, and in doing so, your vision and hearing will sharpen as you advance in truth that leads to victory instead of being held captive by lies that seek your defeat.

2 Cor. 10:3-6, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.”
