Tarry and Travail
I have already prepared a new wine for My people and am watching for those who have prepared themselves to receive it. I cannot pour it into old wineskins – they are not able to hold it. Where are those who will risk all for the fulfillment of My Word in them? Who will choose to embrace Me and proclaim the totality of My Word and My holiness; to tarry and travail when all others have walked away? Into these, will I pour out a new anointing. These will be carriers of My Spirit’s revelation and power because they have chosen to wait and to labor amid painful circumstances to see My Word manifested in them. These are for whom I diligently search. Those who will so intimately identify with My heart, that I can entrust My plans and purposes in detail – a people who will both tarry and travail for the joy of knowing Me.
Matt. 26:40-41, 43-45a “Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, ‘What? Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak’…and He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then He came to His disciples and said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold the hour is at hand…”
