The Breath of God

You have prayed that I would breathe upon My people again. Are you prepared for that, My people? I desire that I inhale the sweet fragrance of My children – yes, those found in Christ. Will I find you in Him as I inhale? Yes, I desire to put My people on display as I did Job, confounding the enemy. Understand though that My breath gives life and it also consumes. When I breathe out, it will be to consume all that is displeasing to Me that life may abound in you. My child, be aware of what you ask, for My breath both confronts and creates. Are you ready for Me to do so in you?

2 Cor. 2:14-17, “But thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ, and spreads through us in every place the scent of knowing Him. For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To some we are a scent of death leading to death, but to others, a scent of life leading to life. And who is competent for this? For we are not like the many who make a trade in God’s message for profit, but as those with sincerity, we speak in Christ, as from God and before God.” HCSB

Heb. 12:26-29, “His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, ‘Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.’ Now this expression, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of what can be shaken – that is created things – so that what is not shaken might remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” HCSB

Job 33:4, “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 4:8-9, “In my experience, those who plow injustice and those who sow trouble reap the same. They perish at a single blast from God and come to an end by the breath of His nostrils.” HCSB
