The Desert Place
Do not waste your desert experience. The beauty of being in the desert is that it quickly brings your priorities to the surface, one of which is water. Seek the living water that flows from My throne, which I alone can give. The other is direction: one leads you further into the desert, the other will lead you out of it. If you will silence the grumblings of your heart and listen, you will hear My voice. Take the time to develop a discerning ear, for, without fail, I will speak and lead you to a place of oasis and places of sustenance until I bring you into the promise. Realize My child that not all desert experiences are because of disobedience, some are just the route that must be followed to walk into My promise. Be careful that you do not end up walking in circles because you have chosen not to listen, not to follow, and not to drink of My life. Desert places can be deadly, and that is NOT My plan for you.
Ex. 15:22, “So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.” NKJV
