The Pain of Betrayal

I understand the pain of your betrayal, My Child. Know that while My heart hurts for you and with you, you must let it go. Do not feel guilty because they took an offense, and do not feel shame at your inability to fix it. Leave them with Me and let Me deal with the hurt that caused them to violate the trust you placed in them. Let their actions lead you to the cross where self is crucified so that you can be raised again in resurrection power to continue with the work that I have called you to do. Do not allow their betrayal to open a foothold to the enemy. Remember, My betrayal preceded My greatest triumph. Be at peace knowing that I am aware and at work to both heal and reconcile. Let it go and follow Me.

Luke 22:47-48, “And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said to him, ‘Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?’” NKJV
