Word for 2022

2022 is the year of the Roaring Lion. The Lord will arise and roar. For those who are His children, the roar will signal a gathering together – Father means business. It will not be fearful to them; however, it will initiate a change of behavior, a call to arms. For those who have not trusted in the Name of the Lord, it signals judgment for the purpose of redemption. Isaiah 5:16 states, "But the Lord of Hosts will be exalted in judgment, and the holy God will show Himself holy in righteousness."

Knowing your position in the Kingdom of God is crucial. We are called to a specific place for such a time as this. Also, the soldier does not concern himself with his provision in battle, only the mission. It is for the Commander-in-Chief to make sure all are provided for as they move forward to advance in victory (Matt. 6:25-34). It is the soldier's duty to be prepared for any call at any time. It is a time when spiritual senses are honed and the use of the weapons of spiritual warfare perfected (2 Cor. 10:3-6, Eph. 6:10-18). The ability to hear and act on what is heard is essential. It is of utmost importance that we align what we are saying with what God says. Understanding jurisdiction and walking as one is vital. Even special forces act in teams.

I heard in my spirit the word "IMPLOSION" repeated multiple times. God warns us so that we prepare, not become fearful. Our hope and trust are in the Name of the Lord. A name indicates its authority, commands, interests, pleasures, personality, and deeds. Joel 2:32b and again Paul in Romans 10:13 tell us, "Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be delivered." Daniel 11:32b tells us that those "who know their God will display strength and take action." We must understand the Name of our God and that He is King of kings and Lord of lords. His Name is above every name in heaven or on earth.

2022 is a year of many battles resulting in many victories. However, victory is contingent upon the army fighting it. As Joshua 1:9 says, "Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
