Your Foundation

Many people and leaders who claim My Name have abandoned the original foundation seeking to build upon positivity, self-help, and things of the flesh rather than of the Spirit. A carnal foundation is a compromised foundation, which must be destroyed and lain again. Return to what is foundational to your faith – My cross, My resurrection, My person. To build on anything else will cause the work of your hands to fail. It may stand for a moment, but in the season of storms, it will inevitably fall. You must dig deep and learn of Me, creating a firm foundation that will last even amid persecution. Build upon the truth of My Word, which remains forever. This is the Good News – that I have come to restore life by reconciling man to Myself. It is sure and steady, and by no means will crumble over time. If you are careful to build correctly upon it, surely it will provide shelter for generations to follow.

Ps. 11:3, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” NKJV

Luke 6:46-49, “But why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who build a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.” NKJV

Is. 33:5-6, “The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; he will fill Zion with His justice and righteousness. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.” NIV
