Your Inheritance

You have an inheritance in Me that sin seeks to rule over. I am not the only One to knock upon the door of your heart, seeking entrance. Be discerning, for Cain was cast from My presence because he did not heed My warning that sin was crouching at his door. The very thing he professed to desire – My acceptance of his offering – he did not receive, and he lost the inheritance of My presence in his life, having given place to sin. Your inheritance is one of godly wisdom and counsel; an inheritance of righteousness before Me, both imperishable and undefiled. Refuse to grant entrance to that which would rob you of your inheritance in Me, abandoning you to inherit the wind.

Ps. 125:3, “For the scepter of wickedness will not rule the inheritance of the righteous, so that the righteous will not themselves turn their hands to evil.” CJB
