Your More Than

I want to be more than anything to you. Let Me be more than the hurt you hold, the disappointment you suffer, and the rejection you carry. Let Me be more than the bitterest response you could compose and more than the hiding place where you isolate yourself. Let Me be more than the anger and more than the song. Let Me be more than the sun on a rainy day, more than the happiest of life’s moments and your closest relationship - just let Me be more than. When all of what life entails grows dim in the light of who I am to you, you will have walked into the complete freedom of being Mine alone. When I am your more than, all will align itself in its proper position. You will find that wherever life takes you, you will live in a place of joyous rest and peace ready to face every day with confidence because no matter what I am more than enough for you.

Matt. 10:37-39, “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” NKJV
